At Create/Context we believe the context surrounding art is just as important as the art itself. In an era of short-form content where reviews, thoughts, and opinions can be summed up in a tweet or TikTok, we strive to do something different. Art flourishes in context and we attempt to bring context to art. Sometimes this means our reviews won’t be the first out the door or have the catchiest headline. But it does mean that our authors have time to digest and process the art they are reviewing. We love movies and the stories that surround them. Our goal with every article is to create context, not content.
